French Made Baking
Formed in January 2011, French Made Baking is run by David and Catherine, a “French-from-France” couple now living in Vancouver. Upon moving to Vancouver, David and Catherine were dismayed by the lack of fine, fresh, French pastries in the local bakeries. So, they decided to take matters into their own hands and turn a passion into a business – by opening their own bakery.
French Made Baking uses all-natural ingredients, believing that your body should only ingest natural products, nothing artificially or chemically altered.
Featuring French cuisine such as le macaron (a sweet confectionary made of two almond meringue discs stuck together with a generous layer of butter cream, jam or ganache filling) and le financier (is similar to sponge cake where part of the flour has been replaced by ground almonds), French Made Baking promises to be a delicious addition every week at the summer 2011 market.
