Eli’s Serious Sausage
Eli opened his first Serious Sausage stand in November, 2010 and they are already becoming a favourite at our market and others around Vancouver.
Serious Sausage was born from a love of sausage and a disappointment with the available sausage vendors around Vancouver (Eli’s stand is the only one!) and with handmade, local pork, and delicious — made fresh daily — buns these sausages are a great success.
Eli is the sole proprietor of the business — meaning he both owns and runs the stand by himself. When this are getting busy he does have an assistant, Michael, available to help him out. He’s out at markets five days a week, hitting up the Main Street, North Vancouver, West End, Steveston, Ladner, Coquitlam and New Westminster markets. He is also available to cater private events.
Eli says he loves coming to the New West market because of the surrounding park, and he loves that his “stand is always right beside the music. It’s great.”
