Chris Messytone

Chris is an accomplished 120 bass accordion player and has been playing and performing for over 20 years. His music is a blend of polkas, waltzes, old-time favourites, international ethnic strains and sometimes even original tunes. Chris also plays accordion and keyboards together at the same time. Influences are extracted from genres such as Cajun, Italian, German, Polish and Ukrainian and are often part and parcel of his toe-tapping, easy to listen to presentation.

He’s an experienced musician who is capable of playing music suited to a specific theme or event. Selections can be soft and gentle, as well as lively and danceable. Chris Messytone has entertained at community centres, parties, weddings, anniversaries, festivals, restaurants, pubs, farmers markets and senior care residences, facilities and hospitals.
