New Westminster Public Library
The New Westminster Public Library is the oldest public library in BC. It is located at 716 6th Avenue in uptown New Westminster. The library has a rich history and has helped shape the face of our city. They have many programs for children, adults, teens and seniors, and boast three art gallery areas, a well stocked (and well staffed!) reference area, computers for public use with internet access, a great collection of music and movies, and meeting rooms available for community groups. It’s also air conditioned so when you need a break form your garden in the summer – you know where to go!
The library will be on hand in our Summer 2010 season July 22nd and August 19th.
