Community Groups and Non-Profits
Each week, RCFM dedicates one stall space to a local community group. We offer the space free of charge, and supply a tent, table, and two chairs. Non-profits and other community groups can use this space to connect with market shoppers and show off what services and programs they offer. Preference is giving to groups working in issues surrounding food sustainability, agriculture, health, the environment, and eco-living, as well as New Westminster-specific groups. For the full listing of how we select groups, check out the guidelines.
Dates are reserved in advance, and so that we may offer this space to as large a selection of community groups as possible, each group is limited to two markets in the 2010 season.
Is your group interested in some free space to come to the market? Here is the application formyou will need. Questions? Email marketmanager@rcfm.ca.
